If your family is interested in adoption then there are many processes that are necessary to complete the journey. With a staff of certified adoption investigators we can help you navigate the in and outs of the legal journey through adoption. We are not a child placing agency and we do not identify children for adoption. We can offer you a list of agencies in the area to meet those needs. See below for our specific services.

Home Study

This is a pre-placement investigation that is required to adopt a child in SC.

Home Study Update

Your home study must be updated yearly. This is a less invasive home study that updates your original file.

Post Placement

After your pre-adoptive child is placed with you, the court requests that a certified adoption investigator make monthly visits to check on your family until the adoption is finalized by the court.

Consents

When parent's decide to place their child for adoption they can sign consents to place their child for adoption.

Background

This report is done on the biological family of the child being placed for adoption. This document is needed by the judge to finalize adoptions.
