Selah Center of Hope
Services for Foster, Kinship, Adoptive and Special Needs individuls and families.
At Selah Hope Foundation, our therapy services are uniquely designed for children, teens, and families navigating foster care, kinship care, adoption, and special needs. We provide trauma-informed, attachment-focused support that addresses the complex challenges of loss, transition, and identity, while celebrating each client’s resilience. Our therapists integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, DBT Skills, and Animal Assisted Therapy work to help youth heal from past trauma, strengthen relationships, and build a secure sense of belonging.
Most importantly, Selah is a place where you can feel seen, valued, and truly at home—a place where you belong. Whether supporting a child with special needs, guiding adoptive parents through the joys and struggles of new family connections, or helping foster families create stability, our goal is to empower every individual and family to thrive with hope, healing, and connection.

Common Threads
Common Threads is a program designed to bring children with special needs together through inclusive events, summer camps, and year-round activities that celebrate every child’s unique gifts. Built on the belief that connection and belonging are essential to growth, Common Threads provides safe, supportive spaces where kids of all abilities can learn, play, and thrive alongside one another.
Through engaging camps, creative workshops, and community events, the program weaves together opportunities for friendship, skill-building, and joy. Each activity is intentionally designed to be adaptive, accessible, and welcoming, helping children gain confidence while families find encouragement and support.
At its core, Common Threads reflects the truth that when we bring our differences together, we create something stronger, more beautiful, and more connected than we ever could alone.

The Village
The Village
The Village is a community-centered program created to surround parents and caregivers with the support, encouragement, and resources they need. Built on the idea that “it takes a village,” the program offers a safe place for families to rest, connect, and grow.
Through Parents’ Night Out events, caregivers receive much-needed respite while their children enjoy engaging, inclusive activities in a safe environment. Parent support groups provide a space to share experiences, find encouragement, and build meaningful connections with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of raising children. In addition, training events equip families with practical tools and knowledge, covering topics such as child development, trauma-informed care, and strategies for fostering resilience.
By combining rest, community, and learning, The Village strengthens families and empowers caregivers to thrive. Together, we are creating a supportive network where no parent feels alone.

Inspire
Inspire is a one-on-one mentoring program designed to walk alongside parents of foster, adoptive, and special needs children. Parenting in these unique journeys can bring both extraordinary joy and significant challenges, and Inspire exists to ensure no parent has to navigate it alone.
Through personalized mentoring, Inspire pairs parents with trained mentors who provide encouragement, practical guidance, and a listening ear. Whether it’s navigating complex systems, managing daily stress, or celebrating small victories, mentors offer consistent support rooted in empathy and understanding.
More than just a program, Inspire is a relationship-driven network of care that empowers parents to feel equipped, valued, and resilient. By investing in the well-being of caregivers, Inspire helps strengthen families and create lasting stability for the children who need it most.

The Foundry
The Foundry is an independent living community designed for young adults who have aged out of the foster care system. Our vision is to provide a safe and supportive environment where they can transition into adulthood with stability, guidance, and opportunity.

We are actively raising funds to purchase a property that will bring The Foundry to life. Every contribution brings us one step closer to opening doors of hope and independence for these young adults.
