Why are we Different?

Inclusive by Design

At the Selah Grey Academy, inclusion is not an afterthought—it is the foundation. Every classroom is intentionally designed to serve students of all abilities, ensuring that children with disabilities, learning differences, or unique needs learn alongside their peers in a supportive environment where belonging comes first.

Individualized Learning Paths

Rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum, the Selah Grey Academy offers personalized academic plans that honor each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. With small class sizes and a high teacher-to-student ratio, students receive the focused attention they need to flourish academically and emotionally.

Whole-Person Development

Education at the Selah Grey Academy goes beyond academics. Students are encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually through programs that nurture resilience, character, creativity, and self-confidence—preparing them for life, not just tests.

Community and Belonging

The Selah Grey Academy is more than a school; it is a family. Parents, teachers, and students work together to create a culture of support, faith, and encouragement where every child feels valued. This sense of community provides stability and hope that extends far beyond the classroom walls.

Who Qualifies

  • Child with a documented disability- Students with IEPs, 504 plans, or diagnosed conditions such as autism, ADHD, or dyslexia who benefit from individualized instruction and smaller class sizes.

  • Sibling/s of a child with a disability who has been accepted into the Selah Grey Academy

  • Children from foster care or adoptive backgrounds who may require extra stability, belonging, and individualized attention due to life transitions or adverse childhood experiences.

Selah Grey Academy is committed to meeting the needs of our community, and as such, the grade levels we serve will be determined by demand and identified need. Rather than opening with a predetermined grade span, we will thoughtfully expand to include the ages and stages most in need of an inclusive, supportive educational environment. This flexible approach allows us to respond directly to families and students who may not be fully served in traditional school settings, ensuring that our resources are directed where they will have the greatest impact.
